ANSWERS TO YOUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the best way to store potatoes?

Potatoes should be stored in a cool dark place, in a potato bin or basket in the pantry. If space allows, the refrigerator is a good place to store them.

What is the best way to store carrots?

Carrots should always be kept in a refrigerator, preferably in a sealed container to prevent any dehydration.

What is the best way to store onions?

Normally, they can last for several weeks (if not months) without compromising their taste or nutritional value, but it’s important to store them in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.

Once you cut an onion, wrap whatever portion you don’t use in plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator. It’ll keep for about 4 days.

Is it ok to eat a potato with a tinge of green?

You should not eat potatoes with a green tinge, this tinge is from light exposure and make the potatoes toxic to eat.
