Onions are a staple of every kitchen, adding flavour and depth to all kinds of dishes, they can be roasted, sautéed, stir fried, barbequed or grilled. We provide your family with both brown and red onions all year round.
SOWING THE SEEDS
The onion seeds are planted into beds that are well prepared with the one and only family recipe of grandma’s compost, which helps the seeds flourish.
TIME TO GROW
Once planted the onions are consistently cared for through watering and regular quality growing checks, they grow up to 160 days but harvest is determined by the bulb size.
Once the onions reach the desired bulb size they are harvested and sent for grading to initiate the paddock to plate process.
WASHING AND GRADING
Onions are just graded not washed.
Once harvested the onions go through the grading stage to pick the best produce for you and your families plate.
PACKED READY TO GO
They are now packed and ready to go onto the truck to get and be delivered to your closest store or market where you can pick them up and utilise in your next delicious family meal.
